Erosion control

Liners for erosion control

Erosion is a natural process caused by the effects of the climate (e.g. water, wind and temperature changes) and the properties of the site itself (e.g. soil, vegetation, location and geography).

These factors determine different scenarios when it comes to erosion, with different levels of severity that may be exacerbated depending on how the soil is used. Uncontrolled erosion processes can cause major structural and environmental damage, making their correct treatment extremely important.

Erosion control solutions with geosynthetics

Geosynthetics can be used to control erosion in almost all cases and are commonly used to provide protection on slopes, landfill cappings, all types of embankments on reservoirs, channels, railway lines and roads, the recovery of degraded areas, reforestation and the protection of riverbanks and coastlines.
