Sanitary landfill for the final disposal of non-hazardous municipal solid waste, located in the municipality of Corregidora, Quer\u00e9taro.<\/p>\n

The project includes the development of Cell 1, designed as the initial stage of the final disposal site, with an estimated service life of 8 months, based on the municipality\u2019s waste generation projections. The cell is equipped with a comprehensive lining system consisting of geotextile\u2013geomembrane\u2013geotextile, installed over its entire surface.<\/p>\n\n

The infrastructure is developed over an approximate area of 0.5 hectares, incorporating specialized engineering solutions that ensure proper containment, environmental control, and site operation. The construction process was carried out in accordance with the technical and environmental guidelines established in NOM-083-SEMARNAT-2003, ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n

Cell 1 is designed to accommodate an approximate waste capacity of 120,000 m\u00b3, optimizing operational efficiency and establishing the basis for the future expansion of the project.<\/p>\n\n

During the execution of the works, strict quality control was implemented, particularly for the geomembrane installation and welding activities. The seams were verified through field testing, including non-destructive tests to confirm continuity, watertightness, and weld strength, ensuring the integrity of the lining system.<\/p>\n
