It is one of the most relevant copper mining projects in Europe. Cobre Las Cruces S. A is the company responsible for the exploitation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since 2012, several infrastructures have been required within the mining complex with the need for waterproofing, among which four ponds and some actions for the containment of the tailings dumps stand out.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n<p>For this waterproofing need, which required a membrane with very high chemical resistance, a long service life and superior mechanical properties, Atarfil HD 1.50 mm geomembrane was chosen for all of them.
